Practical Information

The library of the German Forum for Art History is a full reference library.

Besides having access to the electronic library catalogue (OPAC), the readers are able to conduct on site research using a range of selected electronic databanks, encyclopedia, E-journals and research portals. A fee is charged for making photocopies. 

Currently there is not a separate reading room at the DFK. Nonetheless we try to guarantee access to our collections by appointment. .

For organizational reasons it is obligatory to arrange your visit in advance by phone.

Inquiries concerning catalogue information or access to the collections should be transmitted by mail or by phone  from Monday to Friday between 9-13h and 14-18h.
